BANGKOK PROJECT/ CULTURAL EXCHANGE

SAWASDEE

The Melbourne x Bangkok Contemporary Art Exchange Program is co-initiated by Dr Kata Sangkhae, the Professor of School of Fine and Applied Arts in the Bangkok University and Wilson Yeung, the Founder of Curatorial Collective at the RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

 

This curatorial project aims to promote a series of academic exchange activities between Melbourne, Australia and Bangkok, Thailand, in order to encourage mutual understanding and development of arts and culture between two countries as well as establish a long-term collaborative relationship with the School of Fine and Applied Arts at the Bangkok University.

 

As part of the program, art students from Bangkok University are invited to Melbourne to participate in an intensive week-long program of workshops, events, industry discussions and tours of galleries, museums and art studios.
