WE WANDERED IN THE WILDERNESS

'Enriching, critiquing and reconsidering notions of audiences, site and public space through art' - RMIT Intersect 2020

LIGHTSCAPES is a public art project initiated by RMIT Intersect and conducted by RMIT Curatorial Collective. The program consists of two major parts: an intensive workshop followed by a collaborator-led studio. These sessions are forced to be executed online as the result of COVID-19 pandemic, it has prompted the artists to reconsider the nature of public connections and community space. By sharing personal experiences and connecting through art, the collaborators have proposed an exhibition We Wandered in the Wilderness at Rodda Lane.

All forms of discussions are documented as a study of the development process of the project; It is to understand how people interact and find creative solutions under the collective framework.
